ABOUT LOCO FOR LOCO
"Longmont is such a boring town," "I can't wait to leave for college." These are the sorts of comments I regularly hear from my peers. I used to have similar beliefs to these until I lived in another state for a year. After moving back I had a much
greater appreciation for everything we have here in Longmont. Through this project, I hope to show that Longmont has a rich and interesting history that goes back beyond just the past few decades.
About the Senior Capstone Project
The Senior Capstone Project is a part of the Silver Creek Leadership Academy at Silver Creek High School. The Senior Capstone Project is a project completed in the senior year that is a culmination of the skills learned in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. Past projects have included: a community garden at Silver Creek, a golf tournament, internships, and more.
